General Corporate Lawyer

Required Experence

• Experience in advising startups, SMEs, or multinational companies.
• Exposure to international commercial transactions or cross-border matters.
• Knowledge of FEMA, foreign investments, data privacy, intellectual property, or technology law would be an advantage.

We are looking for a proactive and commercially mindedCorporate Lawyers who can provide legal support to corporate clients while also overseeing the Firm’s corporate governance, compliance, and internal company management functions.

This role is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys working at the intersection of law, business strategy, governance, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Advisory

• Advise clients on general corporate and commercial legal matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and business agreements.
• Assist clients with company incorporation, restructuring, joint ventures, investments, shareholder matters, and corporate transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence and prepare transaction documentation.
• Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Commercial Documentation

• Draft and review Agreements

Company Secretarial & Compliance Support

• Coordinate with Company Secretaries, Chartered Accountants, and regulatory professionals.
• Assist in maintaining statutory records and corporate documentation.
• Monitor regulatory filings and corporate compliance requirements.
• Support board and shareholder meetings by preparing agendas, resolutions, and documentation where required.

Firm Management

• Maintaining corporate records and internal legal documentation.
• Managing contracts with vendors, consultants, technology providers, and business partners.
• Reviewing internal policies, SOPs, and governance documents.
• Coordinating compliance across the Firm’s business operations.
• Supporting implementation of legal technology and process improvements.
• Liaising with external professionals, regulators, and service providers.
• Assisting management with strategic legal and commercial initiatives.
